Game of Goals: Student Battle of St Petersburg Universities

On May 30, ICSER Leontief Centre hosted the 17 SDGs business game “Game of Goals”.
The business game “Game of Goals” is considered as a platform for stakeholders to showcase and share best practices, approaches and solutions to achieving the SDGs. The game aims to develop a project contributing to the SDGs for one of the countries in the Baltic Sea region. This one included 5 teams from leading universities in St. Petersburg: St. Petersburg State University of Economics, National Research University Higher School of Economics, North-West Institute of Management RANEPA, and two teams from Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.

The winner became the team from Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, who has been working on a project for Norway. The project focuses on the SDG 12: Ensure Sustainable Consumption and Production Patterns and proposes an idea of making roads from recycled plastic waste.
