Game of Goals: Green Landscapes

On 26 April 2021, the business game “Game of Goals: Green Landscapes” took place in the Priory Palace as part of the cross-border cooperation project “Landscape as a Resource: Backing New Services and Tourism”. Welcome addresses were given by Olga Golubeva, Deputy Chair of Leningrad Region Committee for Culture and Tourism, and Elena Lyubushkina, Director of Park Agency.

Representatives of SMEs of the Gatchinsky District were divided into three teams to demonstrate knowledge and experience in the intellectual battle. The teams had the task to develop new products and services and think of their promotion at the local level. Participants offered striking and bold solutions for the arrangement of parks. Energy-efficient management, safety, sustainable consumption and other solutions will help the parks of the Gatchinsky District become more attractive for tourists and residents. The game was moderated by Olga Iakimenko, ICSER Leontief Centre, Green Mobility CEO.

The game was won by the team Oredezh with the Tourist Triathlon project. The project aims to combine the best natural and cultural sites and gastronomic places along the Oredezh River into the Ecological Route and provide transport accessibility using non-motorized vehicles (kayaks, bikes, e-bikes, walking).
