Game of Goals: EcoDesign Solutions

On March 12, the Gorky House of Scientists of RAS (St. Petersburg) hosted the business game GAME OF GOALS: EcoDesign Solutions. The game was held as part of the Sustainable Development and Circular Economy Day, organized by the New Life of an Old Cabinet project with the support of the EcoDesign Circle 4.0 international project. The game was moderated by Olga Iakimenko, ICSER Leontief Centre, Green Mobility International Partnership Initiative Coordinator.

The game brought together 30 students from Saint Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design, Saint Petersburg State University of Economics, Saint Petersburg State University, Pushkin Leningrad State University, and Saint Petersburg University of Management Technologies and Economics. The students were divided into five teams and had been developing striking, bold and sustainable solutions in design and architecture. Those included energy-efficient capsule homes and hotels, recycled plastic roads and many other interesting design solutions based on recycled materials that gained a second life — beautiful and stylish.
